Obituary Overview
In loving memory
Carol Ann Becker (nee-Cole), born on June 4th, 1947, passed away suddenly due to heart complications, on July 3rd, 2018, at the age of 71.
She was born and raised in New Brunswick and as a young adult ventured to Kingston. She worked at Eaton’s in the jewellery department, as well as enjoyed the vibrant life in the city of Toronto. Thoroughly savoured music and the live bands in the downtown core. This is where she started her journey as a mother and then later married her husband, the late Alfred Becker. Together they completed their family, with 3 more children. She was a loving mother and opened her home to many of their friends growing up, aka momma B. After settling, she spent her life caring for others, mainly as a caregiver in New Brunswick, at Delongs Residential Center. After separating, she started over in Port Elgin, where she worked privately in others homes. She then retired due to medical issues but never ceased to be a supportive and nurturing grandma.
Predeceased by her mother and father, Laura Dickison (nee-Cole) and Douglas Dickison and daughter Stephanie Cole. Survived by her daughter, Chrystal (Rob), her sons, David (Katelyn) and Brodie, her grandsons, Josh, Zach, Elijah, Samuel, Jorden and Christopher, sister, Angela Dickison (Mike)and her niece Sydney. Loved by aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends, whom she always viewed like family. She will be forever missed by all that knew her because of that.
Memorial service to be held on Sunday, August 5th, 2018, at 1pm, in Port Elgin at Living Hope Christian Center.
Expressions of sympathy can be given by donations to the Living Hope Christian Center, received by Rev. Robert S. Cotie, 317 Blanchfield Rd, Southampton, ON N0H 2L0
