Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carmine Clemente after a 3½ year battle with Parkinson’s on Monday, June 11, 2018 in Burnaby, B.C. Carmine was born on February 11, 1929 in Vieste, Foggia, Italy. He passed away with the love of his family surrounding him. He was predeceased by his parents Giorgio and Celestina, sister Antonietta and brothers-in-law Mario, Vincenzo and Raffaele. He will be remembered by his wife of 60 years Giovanna, and his children Celestina, Giorgio (Susan) as well as his beloved grandchildren Adriano, Carmine and Carlo. He is also survived by his sisters Maria and Lucia, and brothers Carlo (Antonella) and Giuseppe (Miranda) as well as many nieces, nephews and family in Italy, Australia, and Canada. Viewing will be held on Monday, June 18th, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Kearney Burnaby Chapel, 4715 Hastings Street, Burnaby, B.C. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 18th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Helen’s Parish, 3860 Triumph Street, Burnaby, B.C. Rev. Leonardo Rocha officiating. Entombment will be held the following day Tuesday, June 19th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum, Burnaby, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of B.C. Condolences for the family may be left at www.kearneyfs.com.
