Obituary for Carmen Pandolfi (Bonci)
After a brave battle with cancer, Carmen, in her 79th year passed away at home on February 1, 2018 with Gianfranco, her loving and devoted husband of 59 years by her side.
She will be greatly missed by her children Lorraine (Taso), Claudio (Natalie), Cynthia (Rob), and her daughter-in-law, Josie. Proud grandmother of Constantine, Erika, Zachary, David and Cassandra.
Her passions included caring for her garden, her clients at the salon and mostly bringing her children, grandchildren and friends together over a huge tray of homemade lasagna. When you think about Carmen you will always remember a small, spunky woman who never stayed still; she was always smiling, was a fantastic cook and loved with all her heart.
You will be sadly missed by all those whose hearts you have touched over the years.
Visitations will be held at Bernardo Funeral Homes (2960 Dufferin St., south of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Monday from 2-4, 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Philip Neri Church (2100 Jane St., south of Wilson Ave.) on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Rd., at Highway 27). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carmen may be made to a charity of your choice.
