Obituary for
Carmela Tambosso
Tambosso, Carmela Maria (nee Pozza), long-time resident of Richmond Hill, passed away peacefully at Sunrise of Aurora on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, in her 84th year. She is now with Bruno, her beloved husband for almost 64 years, who left us in June. We are forever grateful for the love they shared, a love that will continue in their three children – Michael (Mary), Alan (Laurie) and Debbie Barnes (Roger); eight grandchildren – Laura and Adam, Marissa (Steven Cooley) and Christopher and Daniel, Courtney and Devon (William Woodstock) and Taylor; two great grandchildren – Kallen Cooley and Adeline Woodstock; and her brother Robert Pozza (Kathie). Predeceased by her sister Irene Cruickshank and Irene’s husband Harold.
Special thanks to the staff of Sunrise of Aurora and the community palliative support team from Southlake Regional Health Centre.Visitation at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street, from 4-8pm Monday. Funeral mass at 10am Tuesday in Our Lady Queen of the World Church, 10411 Bayview Ave. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
