It is with great sadness I announce the passing of my father, Carl Piela, beloved husband of the late Ann Picard. He leaves to mourn his loving daughter, Alison (Giorgio Porcari), his sister, Annie Rakush, many relatives and friends. Carl will be fondly remembered for his gregarious personality, sense of humour, and his love of life and sports. Visitation will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White located at 222, Highway 20, Pointe-Claire (corner of Cartier) on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Donations, in memory of Carl, may be made to the Vaudreuil-Soulanges Palliative Care Residence Foundation, located at 90 Como Gardens, Hudson, Québec J0P 1H0. Heartfelt thanks to the devoted staff and volunteers of VSPCRF for making his last weeks comfortable.
