Died peacefully on Friday August 24, 2018 at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood at the age of 81. Jim of Wasaga Beach, beloved husband of Sandra (nee Claridge)for over 57 years. Loving father of Kelley Bailey (Walter Jelic), Cameron (Norma) and Kerry Bezan. Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Shawna, Christina, April, Olivia and Andrew. Jim is predeceased by his brother Maurice. Dear brother-in-law of Harry Claridge. Jim will also be missed by his pet companions Mya, Muffin and the late Lacey and his friends and neighbours. Jim had a long career with CN, he enjoyed the horse races, dancing with Sandra, golf and cards with his friends and he loved time spent with his family. He will be missed. Friends will be received at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home – Wasaga Beach Chapel, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Tuesday August 28, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Wasaga Beach United Church, 380 Zoo Park Road, Wasaga Beach on Wednesday August 29th at 1 o’clock. Reception to follow. If desired, a donation to the Wasaga Beach United Church or Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation for Campbell House would be appreciated by his family.
