Peacefully at Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (Smiths Falls Site) on Sunday May 6, 2018. David Platt of Elgin, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Pat Laws. Dear father of David Michael (Carole) of Kingston, Susan (Todd) Uens of Stirling, Christopher and Kevin (Marcie) of Ottawa. Dear brother of Susan Platt of Milton. Predeceased by brother, Gordon Platt. Fondly remembered by grandchildren; Meagan, Chase, Michael, Sherrilynn, Kendra and Christina. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Friday from 2-4. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
