Burton Colin- 81, Surf Lodge Nursing Home, formerly of Welshtown, passed away in Roseway Hospital on January 30, 2018. Born in Oak Park, Barrington, he was a son of the late Lawrence B. Crowell and Avis (Stoddart) Crowell. Burton was employed with J&J Cox, DesChamp Construction and with CFS Shelburne where he retired. He was a jack of all trades. Burton was an animal lover and was a very generous man. He is survived by his very special granddaughter and care-giver, Danette; children, Debbie, Ottawa; Darlene (Joe), Toronto; Devon, Moncton, NB; Jackie Jones, Alabama; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by son, Darryl. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home. No visitation by request. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 3 at 11:00 a.m. in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Chapel, Shelburne with Pastor Wayne Dooks officiating .Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
