Jordan Jonathon Burpee was born on June 22, 1978 in Fairview, AB. After a determined and valiant battle with cancer, he entered heaven’s peace on July 10, 2018, with his wife, Myrta, and his family by his side.
Jordan lived in Devon, AB with his true love Myrta and their son, David. He is deeply missed by Myrta and David; his parents, Rod and Maddy Burpee; his siblings, Charity Quick (Matt), Tyler Burpee (Michelle), and Jessica Burpee; his parents-in-law, Doug and Debbie Harper; his brother-in-law, Leon Harper (Jennifer); his nieces and nephew, Jessica and Christina Harper, and Cadence, Levi and Chloe Quick; and countless friends and extended family. He was living his life-long dream of being a pilot and was a Dash 8 Captain for Air Canada Jazz. Jordan was always in motion, always up for an adventure, and always developing another great idea. Jordan’s faith in Jesus Christ was core to his very existence, as he faithfully followed wherever God led him. We hold on to the promise in John 11:25-26: “Jesus said…’I am the Resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.’”
