Bud Mills
June 19, 1936 – November 27, 2018
MILLS, Bud – It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father and grandfather on Tuesday November 27, 2018 at the Sault Area Hospital at the age of 82. Loving husband of the late Betty (nee Thompson). Much loved father of Carla Bumbaco (Philip) and Curtis (Leslie). Proud grandpa of Jacob and Daniel Bumbaco and Jarrett, Brenna, James and April Mills. Son of the late Leslie and Ella Mills. Dear brother of the late Leslie (late Jean), late Helen Johnson (late Tom), late Arthur (late Marjorie), late Garnet (late Ethel), Wilma Giles (late Jack), late Harold (Sky), Edgar (Dorothy) and Raymond (Maebelle). Brother-in-law of the late Phyllis Gjos (late James). Special uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bud will be remembered by many in the Desbarats area where he owned and operated the Desbarats Service Centre for over 55 years. Friends are invited to visit at the Arthur Funeral Home – Barton & Kiteley Chapel (492 Wellington St. E 705-759-2522) on Monday, December 3, 2018 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Memorial service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. The Rev. Erasmus Madimbu officiating. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Cloudslee Cemetery will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Desbarats United Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
