Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother Bruna on November 20, 2018 at the age of 86. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and loved ones and will be profoundly missed and will remain forever in our hearts.
Bruna was born on January 6, 1932 in Monigo, Treviso, Italy. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Natale and her loving children Paolo (Susan), Loretta (Tino) and Roberto (Rhonda); grandchildren Melissa, Michael, Jonathan (Severin), Natalie and Marco. Also mourning her loss is her sister Carla (Mario) in Italy, as well as family and friends here in Canada, Italy, USA and Mexico.
Bruna spent the last 9 years at Villa Carital where she was loved and well cared for. We would like to thank ALL the caregivers and staff at the Villa in particular Espi, Olivia, Leah and Elisa for all the care and support they gave to our mother.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, Abbey Mausoleum, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruna’s honour may be made to the Villa Carital, 3050 Penticton St. Vancouver BC, V5M 4W2.
