Obituary for
Bruce Graham
GRAHAM, Robert Bruce. Bruce passed away suddenly on Wednesday August 1, 2018 after a brief illness at Trillium Health Centre. Loving partner of Sharon McLeod and proud owner of their beloved dog Dexter. He will be sadly missed by his 3 children, Paula (Chris Harvey), Andrew and Michael and 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Henry, Miles and Evelyn.
Born in 1943, Bruce grew up in Victoria, BC. A planned trip to the Tokyo Olympics in 1964, led him to continue on a 2 year ‘round the world adventure! He settled in Toronto, to attend the Hospitality and Tourism program at Ryerson University and for much of his career he excelled in the food service and promotional products industries.
Bruce had a gift with people. Coming from a small family, he embraced life with a large circle of friends. His relationships stemmed from his passions for sports, jazz and blues, games and good times! Bruce celebrated and enjoyed life most while listening to the ballgame, playing cards, or throwing horseshoes at the family cottage on Whalley Lake. He will be fondly remembered as a very supportive and generous friend.
Sharon and Bruce’s family will be hosting a visitation at Skinner and Middlebrook on Friday August 10, 2018 2:00-4:00pm. A celebration will follow at The Crooked Cue to raise a glass to Bruce!
Online donations may be placed at The Compass Food Bank & Outreach Centre.
