Bruce Leonard McGuire, of Mount Forest, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Gardner). Loving mother of Dan McGuire and his wife Lillian Cook of Hanover, Herb McGuire and his wife Charlotte of Mount Forest, Ron McGuire and his wife Janice of Desboro, and David McGuire of Durham. Cherished grandfather of Ashley and Mark Hartnett, Joshua and Ashley McGuire, Beth McGuire, Luke McGuire, Michael McGuire and Jaimie Buma, Nathanael and Brittany McGuire, Stephanie and Nick Burt, and Rachel and Daniel Toman. Great-grandfather of two. Dear brother of Doris Shaw, Hazel Leatherdale, George McGuire and his wife Joan, Don McGuire, and Larry McGuire and his friend Joan Richardson. Brother-in-law of Evan McAlpine, John Ito, and Ron and Mabel Gardner. Predeceased by his brother Bill McGuire, and his sisters Helen McAlpine, Vivian Thomas, and Elaine Ito. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Child Evangelism Fellowship of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
