OBITUARY
Bruce Clayton Campbell
July 9, 1931 – July 10, 2018
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bruce Campbell at the Shaftesbury Retirement home in Winnipeg in his 88thyear.
Beloved husband of Betty Campbell for 59 years. Loving father of Gayle (Paul Sohi), Lynne, Laurie (Michael Isaacs), and Lisa (Mike Triggs). Dear Grandad of Eric, Dylan, Josh, Ben, Chelsey, Maria and Matthew.
Predeceased by his brother Alan Campbell and parents Russell and Leanore Campbell.
Bruce spent most of his career teaching accounting at the Sault College. Bruce was an avid golfer who enjoyed many winters in Florida and a wonderful retirement with Betty on St. Joseph’s Island where he was born. He was also active in the Lion’s club during his retirement. An avid baseball fan, Bruce never wavered in his fondness for the Blue Jays. Bruce lived a full life with travel, many friends and close family surrounding him until the end.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Holy Trinity Anglican Jocelyn Church on St. Joseph’s Island would be appreciated.
