Dear brother of Frank (Joan) Reinhart and Pat « Bernice » (Jim) Garner and numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, George and Clara Reinhart, and his brother John and sister-in-law Myrna.
He was a longtime faithful member of St. Boniface RC Church.
Bruce spent all of his life living in the Maryhill/Breslau area. He spent 37 years working with B.F.Goodrich and after retirement found his part-time dream job with Bingemans cutting grass, doing maintenance work and enjoying the outdoors.
He was an avid reader and a man of many talents – gardener, chef, builder/renovator, wine, sauerkraut and dill pickle connoisseur, model airplane builder and snow sculptor. He had a wonderful sense of humour. He loved sports and excelled at hockey, baseball and golf not to mention being a pool shark. In 2011 his baseball team, the Breslau Merchants, was inducted into the Waterloo Sports Hall of Fame. His Goodrich and Breslau hockey and baseball teams traveled all over Ontario and won many provincial titles. He was a Blue Jay fan and an avid Toronto Maple Leaf fan.
He was a true gentleman and would go out of his way to help everyone and anyone. He made the world a better place and he will be greatly missed.
The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Guelph General for their kindness and compassion, The Seniors for Homecare by Angels, the team of PSWs from CCAC and the staff at Woolwich Community Health Centre in St. Jacobs for their special care over the years.
