Obituary of Brian McKillican
McKillican Brian
Peacefully surrounded by his family at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London on Sunday, May 6th, 2018 Brian McKillican in his 70th year. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Liz) McKillican for 44 years. Loving father of Rebecca McKillican and her husband Ken Heintel and Tim McKillican and his wife Kristen. Proud and cherished grandpa of Victoria, Jack, Samantha, Madelyn and Natalie. Dear brother of the late Doug McKillican. Dear brother in law of Dianne Matzelle (Bill) and Rudy Matzelle (Elizabeth). Uncle Brian will be sadly missed by his nephews Trevor and Tracey and their families. He is survived by his cousin Gail and aunt Pat in Hawaii and will be fondly remembered by his many friends and colleagues. Brian deeply loved his family, his cottage, and his music which was a lifelong passion that reflected his joy of life. Playing golf and hockey with his friends brought him great joy. His annual trip to Myrtle Beach with his buddies always, put a smile on his face, as he very much looked forward to his golf, music and poker. He loyally followed his beloved Maple Leafs into the playoffs. A most heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at St. Joseph Hospice for their amazing care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brian’s Life will be held at Sunningdale Golf and Country Club, 465 Sunningdale Road West, London on Friday May 25th from 2-5 o’clock with words of remembrance at 3 o’clock. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
