It is with great sadness we announce the death of Brian Thomas Boyd on February 4, 2018 at the age of 84. Born in Doncaster, England, Brian immigrated to Canada in 1957, and soon married Sarah Wylie. Together with Sarah and daughters Sharon, Joanne and Jennifer, Brian enjoyed a fulfilling family life and a proud public service career; retiring as Assistant Deputy Minister of Supply circa 1988. Brian was also the very proud grandfather of seven and great grandfather of two. The family would like to thank everyone who supported Brian in his final years: Dr. D. Jonker and the nurses at the cancer centre of the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 from 11am until time of the service in the chapel at 12noon. Burial and reception to follow.
