Brenton S. C. Veinotte
1936-2018
Brenton Sanford Carroll Veinotte, age 82, of Upper Cornwall, passed
away peacefully at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, on Wednesday,
September 26th 2018.
Brenton was a son of the late Laurie and Clover (Hallamore)
Veinotte.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Shirley; daughter,
April; son, Reg (Susan), all of Cornwall; two grandsons, Jonathan and
Justin; great granddaughter, Alyssa; great grandson, Nathan; sisters,
Frances Frank, Geneva Dorey, Melba Fancy; brother, Lawrence; several
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant daughter, Terry;
brothers, Clarence, Leland, Margeson, George, Douglas; sisters, Leola
and Hattie.
Brenton started his working days in the employ of Gilbert Falkenham
working in the woods and spent 49 years working at Reinforced Plastic
Systems (R.P.S.), Mahone Bay, until his retirement. Brenton’s
favorite pass time was telling stories, large and tall, to whomever
would believe him and always told the truth if the story didn’t
fit. Brenton’s greatest joy of the last few years was spending
time with his great grandchildren.
No visiting hours by request. Cremation has taken place under the
care of Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 3rd
2018 at St. Matthew’s Cemetery, Newburne. Rev. David Whynot
officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of
your choice.
