Brenda Anne Shynal
1945-2018
Brenda Anne Shynal – 73, of
Wolfville, recently passed away at her home. Born on March 20, 1945 in
Moncton, NB, she was a daughter of the late Arthur
« Gordon » and Alice (McBride) Sutherland. Brenda
studied at Acadia University and U.N.B. and taught in both New
Brunswick and Nova Scotia, predominantly in the Annapolis Valley.
Gardening, travel and her dogs gave her much personal pleasure in
retirement at the family cottage at Lake George. She is survived by
her husband, Ed; daughter, Jennifer (Jeff Hall) and their children,
Ruth, Grace and Gabe, of Coldbrook; son, Christopher (Meghan Collins)
and their son, Olan, of Bedford; sister, Barbara Grant, of Fall River.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or funeral
service, by request. Donations in memory may be made to the Leukemia
and Lymphoma Society of Canada, Halifax Chapter, 50 Bedford Highway,
Suite 210, Halifax, NS B3M 0J9. Arrangements are entrusted to the
White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
