In loving memory of Brenda Bernice Amodeo, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday September 30th 2018 in Princess Court at the age of 87.
Brenda is survived by her children Don Amodeo, Bernice (Ron) Smith, Morley (Tammy) Amodeo, Robert Amodeo and Dale Amodeo, 23 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Brenda was predeceased by her beloved son Michael and daughter-in-law Debbie (Marsh), mother Alice (Berry) Davis, father Carl (Slim) Berry, stepfather Charles (Chuck), sisters Shirley Pearson, Dorthy Carter (McGogy) as well as Herman Redlich her long-term partner.
Brenda was born in Dryden on February 12, 1932 and went to Dryden’s local public and high schools. She worked at her first job at Cedar Lake Lodge then at St. Regis Paper in Dryden. She married Joseph Amodeo in 1952 and they were blessed with six children. Brenda later moved to Thunder Bay to attend Confederation College, then she worked at Canada Post for 26 years. She later owned and operated House of Fashion.
She loved her family dearly, an unselfish person and giving person. Her kindness (which he inherited from her mother Alice Davis) was her most distinguishable attribute.
A Private Family Celebration of Life has taken place with interment taking place in the Dryden Cemetery.
