Brandon Larry Alcorn
Alcorn, Brandon Larry – age 22 of Porters Lake passed away of a brain Injury in the Halifax Infirmary, QEII, on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. Born in Halifax, he is a son of Larry Alcorn of Porters Lake and the late Kim (Lawrence) Alcorn. Brandon was an avid body builder. He was outgoing and adventurous and could always be seen with a smile on his face. He will be remembered as a kind and big hearted guy who left a positive impact on so many people. He is survived by his father, Larry Alcorn (Janice Way) of Porters Lake; brother, Steven Alcorn of Kentville; grandfather, Lawrence Alcorn of Cole Harbour; girlfriend, Taylor Ujfalussy of Halifax; aunt and uncle, Tanya and Brett Alcorn of Cole Harbour and cousins, Nathan, Gabe, Brady Alcorn of Cole Harbour. Brandon was predeceased by, mother, Kim Alcorn and grandmother, Susan Alcorn. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9pm Wednesday, March 21st with a funeral service 1pm, Thursday, March 22 with a reception to follow all in Atlantic Funeral Home 771 Main Street, Dartmouth. Burial at a later date. Donations may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Nova Scotia. A special thanks to the QE11 Emergency staff and the 5th Floor ICU nurses and doctors who took care of Brandon and the family.
