Obituary for Bradley Peach
Bradley Peach
May 2nd, 1979 – Friday, December 29th, 2017
Brad was born May 2, 1979, passed away December 29, 2017. Bradley is survived by the love of his life Cindy Talbot, his mother and father Shauna and Roy Peach, sisters Erin and Angie Peach, his two lovely daughters Alexis and Alannah and his furrbabies Jezabelle and Talullah.
The only thing bigger than Brad’s heart was his smile. He was a man who loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking and spending time with his favorite four and two legged friends. Brad especially loved spending time with his best friend (Brother) Josh and cousin Glen.
Brad was a resident, graduate and peer support at Simon’s House. He was involved with many of the residents and always was there to be a patient ear, help out where he could.
Brad was also a very proud graduate of Calgary Drug Treatment Court and took pride in being asked to speak for them at any of their engagements. Brad loved to tell “His Story.” One of the experiences he was fondest of was holding Judge Durrant’s hand on the air plane coming back from a conference in Saskatchewan.
Brad understood the importance of having a spiritual connection and supported both Celebrate Life Recovery at Central United Church and Wild Rose United Church. He was a huge supporter for the 12 step Recovery Program and was always giving back to the community with his Service Work and Speaking Engagements at various Mental Health and Addiction Programs. Brad received his 4-year sobriety coin on December 20th.
Brad had a passion for our Veterans. He worked tirelessly fundraising and writing memorials for the Canadian Fallen Heroes Foundation. He was a proud member for the Canadian Royal Legion and would always volunteer his time to work a route and collect money for the Poppy Fund for veterans who served their country.
Brad loved his parents and family dearly. His two daughters were his heart. Brad was all about giving back to those who helped him. He touched so many people’s lives in such a short period of time. He was a father, son, friend and lover. He will be sorely missed by all those who’s lives he touched. He was good man who could always bring a smile to your face. He loved laughter and singing, 80s music, fishing and camping. Brad was genuine and loved everyone. He would never pass up the opportunity to give someone change who was asking for it. He went out of his way to buy a meal for a stranger who needed it. This Christmas he didn’t want to buy gifts, he wanted to donate money to a family with children to make their Christmas better. Brad was a bright and shining star for those in need in some of their darkest moments. Brad was a genuine loving man who treated everyone with respect.
Rest in peace Brad, there will be a new bright star in the heavens tonight.
