Flemming,
Bradford Alton, 87 of High Crest Place, New Glasgow formerly of
Riverton passed away December 15, 2018 at the QE11 Health Center, VG
site, Halifax, NS.
Born in
Port Latour he was the son of the late Alton Bradford and
Beatrice(Ryer)Flemming.
Bradford
was a resident of High Crest Place, New Glasgow since August having
previously resided in Riverton for over 30 years. He was
retired from the Canadian Armed Forces, later going on to work at
Sobey’s Warehouse and the Pictou Shipyards as a
Commissionaire. He was a member of Branch 28 Royal Canadian
Legion, Stellarton as well as a collector of War
Memorabilia.
He is
survived by sons: David(Sue), James Robert, daughters: Rhonda and La
Rena, step-children: Linda(Lauchie)Scott and Scott(Verna)Cameron,
numerous grandchildren and
step-grandchildren.
He was
predeceased by his wife Helen(Scott)Cameron Flemming in September
2018.
Cremation
has taken place. A celebration of Bradford’s life
will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Stellarton on a day and
time to be announced.
Donations
in memory of Bradford may be made to a charity of one’s
choice.
