Hughes, Bob passed away with his children by his side at the Lee Manor, Owen Sound on Sunday October 28, 2018. Robert Gordon Hughes, formerly of Hamilton, in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Beverly June Hughes (nee Barr). Adored father of Lori (Mike) Thompson, Wendy Hughes, Jason (Rebecca) Hughes, and Tanya (Al) Hughes. Grandfather of Jesse, Trevor, and Ricky Oates, and Ryan Hughes. Great grandfather of Savannah and Lincoln. Survived by his sister Gayle Hughes and his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Richard & Ena, and by his brothers Richard and Ken. A special thank you to the staff at Lee Manor for their loving and compassionate care. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Bob Hughes will be held in the chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Saturday November 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
