Obituary of Blair Middleton
Middleton, Blair James – Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday, April 5th, 2018, in his 67th year. Blair is the son of Albert Stanley Middleton and the late Jacqueline Potts. Dear brother of Wayne (Patricia), and Darlene (Don) VanRaay. He will also be fondly remembered by his long time friends John and Bert Zeylmaker, and his many nieces, nephews and friends. Blair was a proud graduate of Brock University where he earned a teacher’s certificate and a B.A. with a major in history. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave. on Sunday, April 8th from 2 – 4 p.m. and on Monday, April 9th from 10 – 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Canadian Mental Health Association or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Blair in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
