Obituary for Bill Salisbury
Died suddenly at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, on Friday, January 5, 2018. William “Bill” Salisbury, of Petrolia, was in 71st year. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Pat Horton. Bill was a proud father to two daughters; Anoka Salisbury and Barry Ambroschuck and Nikki and John Maxwell and grandfather to Ian and Austin. He was also a step-father and grandfather to Wayne and Dana Horton, Dawn and Doug Hammond, and Corey and Heidi Horton and their six children. He was also a loved brother to Jeannie (the late Dennis(2011)) Marshall, Shirley (Dan) Boyd, Robert (the late Lynn (2016)) Salisbury, Donna (the late Ted (2009)) Jackson, Len (Barb) Salisbury, and Terry (Jane) Salisbury. He is predeceased by his parents Gordon “Owen” and Elsie Salisbury and his siblings Janet (Tom Perkins) Cronk (2017), Peter (Carol)(2012), Tom (2010), Dave (2009), and Ron (1993). Visitors will be received on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 12 pm to 12:45 pm at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Hillsdale Cemetery.
