Harris, William “Bill” Blythe, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ at his home in Southampton on October 6, 2018 at the age of 91. Beloved husband for 64 years to the late Betty Harris (nee Wallis). Dear father of Randy and his wife Debbie of Colorado, Joni Anderson of Kitchener, Melanie and her husband Lawrence Peck of Alberta and Kelly and her husband Mark Graham of Annan. Proud grandfather of Dawn, John, Amy, Brian, Stephanie and Alyssa “Ally” and great grandfather of Xavier, Sebastian, Lucian, Elijah, Lily, Morgan, and Finley. Brother of Evelyn Wintoniw of Winnipeg, uncle to Marie (Steve) and Robert and their families. Predeceased by his parents John Earl & Mary Edna Harris. Bill has lived in Southampton for the past 31 years, he was a committed member of the former Baptist Church on Bricker St, in Port Elgin, and an avid tennis player with the Southampton Tennis Club. Bill became a rather competitive crokinole player with his son Randy, and were able to win the 2018 World Recreational Doubles Championship. Service detail to follow.
