Beverley Sparks-Provo
Sparks-Provo, Beverly-59 East Preston, passed away Tuesday January 2nd, 2018 at Northwood, Halifax. Born in East Preston, to the late Lawrence and Edna (Taylor) Sparks. Beverly worked as a Licence Practical Nurse at the Nova Scotia Hospital for 30 + years until her retirement in 2007. Beverly was committed to her family and friends, always counted on in providing comfort and support, one of those many ways was through her cooking and baking. She will be sadly missed by all! Survived by her husband Basil; sons Cliffton (Roxane), Brandon; daughter Bliss; grandchildren Cierrah and Khaliyl; sisters, Daisy, Betty, Alma; brothers, Lawrence “Henry”(Sarah), Harold (Gail), George (Paula); sisters in-laws Linda, Sylvia, Madeline, Ann, and Sharon; brothers-laws Samuel, Dennis, Miles, Glen, Philip, Clinton, and Norman; godchildren Christopher Walter and Kayla Grant; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by paternal grandparents, William and Bertha Sparks, maternal grandparents, George and Lavinia Taylor; brothers, Murray, Fredrick, Cecil, Michael and sisters Florence and Connie. Visitation will take place Sunday January 7th, from 2-4 p.m. at Atlantic Funeral Home 711 Main St. Dartmouth. Funeral service will be held at the same location Monday January 8th 1 p.m. with Rev. Stewart Williams officiating, burial to follow at the East Preston Cemetery. Donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Nova Scotia. Special thanks to the staff of Northwood 2nd floor for the care they provided.
