Obituary for Betty Watson
Betty passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side at University Hospital in London, on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Born in Shelburne, Ontario, on November 18, 1952, Betty Sharon Watson (née Fish) of Seaforth, was in her 66th year.
Beloved wife of the late James D. “Sickle” Watson (March 5, 2009). Loving step-mother of James Watson of Burlington, Brian Watson of Stratford and Patricia (Bruce) Saville of Stratford and their families. Dear sister of Peter Russell (Tina) of Caesarea, Linda Martyn (Randy) of Russeldale, Barry Fish (Sandra) of Formosa, Kimett Davis (Al Buston) of Egmondville, Kim Russell (Karen) of Stratford and Wanda Gauthier (Dave) of Orangeville. Also missed by her siblings-in-law Bob Watson (Barb) of Seaforth, Iris Watson of Winnipeg, Linda Watson of Seaforth, as well as her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by her husband Jim, parents William and Meredith (née Newell) Fish, sister Judy Fraser and by her brothers-in-law Dave Watson and Richard Watson.
Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at Maitlandbank Cemetery, on Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 1 p.m. Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
