Passed away peacefully at her daughters residence in Petawawa on Friday, December 7, 2018.Betty Toohey, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Bernard Toohey and dear mother of Susan Prince (David), Robert Toohey, Sharon Merriman (Stephen), Amanda Haynes (Daniel) and Shaun Toohey. Loving grandmother to Christopher, Jonathan, Nikki, Lori, Manda, Stephanie, Katherine, Phillip, Joshua and Adam and by her great grandchildren Jacob, Kyle, Cameron, Lindsay, Gabriel, Andrew, Maisie, Ivy, Cadence, Sophie, Isaac and Benjamin. Betty was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Toohey and by her parents George and Lillian Evans.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Wednesday from 10 am until 11am when a celebration of Betty`s life will be held in the Chapel at 11am.
