Obituary Overview
Betty Murray
Betty Murray
It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Betty on June 24, 2018.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory, her sons Douglas (Janet) and David (Denise), two grandchildren Steven and Jennifer. She will also be remembered by her sister Mary and brother Paul as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
Betty was raised on a farm in Garland, MB. The stories of friends and family in that community were always with her.
She moved to Winnipeg as a young girl and met and married Clarence. They enjoyed a busy life with winters in Arizona as well as many cruises to Europe and the Caribbean. She enjoyed art painting with the St. James Art Club and the River East Art Club.
At her request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army or a charity of choice which would be appreciated.
Thank you to all who provided such wonderful care for her at Meadowood Manor.
Though her smile is gone forever and her hand we cannot touch
Still we have so many memories of the one we loved so much.
Her memory is our keep sake with which we will never part.
Farewell, this message is from the heart.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Betty Murray 2018.source
