Obituary for Betty Mitchell
Betty Mitchell, a resident of Port Lambton, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at the age of 78. Betty is the daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Vaas (Gauthier). Beloved wife for 62 years to Stephen. Loving mother of Candy Mitchell and Butch Mitchell (Darlene). Cherished grandmother of Dylan, Ian, Carmen, Cali, and Jeffrey. Great grandmother of Hannah and Kyla. Dear sister of Phyllis Pavan (Bruno), Fran Koepke (late Wayne), Monica Jackson (late Ron), Pat Lang (Art) and the late Joseph Vaas. She will also be missed by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Wednesday from 5-8 PM. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at 2 PM followed by cremation.
