Betty Mae Lott (Murray)

On November 20, 2018 Mom got her butterfly wings and flew up to heaven to join the love of her life, Douglas Neal (Lucky Lott) (1998) who has waited lovingly for her to arrive. Her journey began June 21, 1925 in Stratford, first born to parents Watt and Lorna Murray, followed by her brother Bob (deceased) and sister Marjorie (Skinner). On August 31, 1942 she and dad married and after W.W.II they started their family; Douglas (deceased), Kristine (Graham) Cox, Marjorie, Robert (deceased) and Kimberly (Brian) Bushfield. Mom loved her 8 grandchildren to pieces and lovingly looked after them every chance she had; Kelli (Chris) Severino, Clinton (April) Lott, Janna Cox, Christopher (Christine) Lott, Megan (Kyle) Woodrow and Brittany, Ryan and Wyatt Bushfield. When her 8 great-grandchildren arrived, she was so thrilled; Kayden, Meleena, Vayda, Clinton, Joanna, Pierce, Ezra and wee Jake. She will also be missed by sisters Nancy, Karen and Connie and families. We all have lost the sweetest, kindest and lovely lady there ever was and she will be deeply missed. In keeping with mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and her ashes have been joined for eternity with her beloved husband. We would like to thank all the beautiful caregivers at Spruce Lodge for their love and kindness shown to mom during her time there. She was a fun spirit who loved to laugh and sing, and her gentle ways and loving arms will be missed forever and always. A private family service will be held at a later date.
