Betty passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph on Friday, September 28, 2018 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her husband Doug and son Grant. Google Maps Stuart – Joanne Martin, Dale Palin, Shelley Stuart and their families. The care and kindness of the Hutten family, the staff and residents of The Village Manor Retirement Home, where Betty resided since 2000, have her heartfelt gratitude. She enjoyed her association with members of the Bridge Club held weekly. Betty also wished to acknowledge the guidance and understanding of Rev. Ted Vance plus the fellowship of the Millgrove United Church congregation. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Randy Cross and the staff at the Waterdown Family Medical Clinic for their care.
Private cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the start of a Memorial Service at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room.
Miss me a little – but not too long and not with your head bowed low.
For this is a journey we all must take and each must go alone.
It’s all part of the Master’s plan, a step on the road to home.
