Long; Bernice Jane
Passed away peacefully at Jeremey House, her home for over 27 years in Mount Forest on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in her 87th year. Beloved daughter of the late Gordon and Vera Long. Dear sister of Joyce(Bob) Fennel of Hamilton and Bob(Lois) Long of Markdale. Loved and remembered as Aunt to Shawn Fennel and the late Michelle Harkness, and Great Aunt to Calvin, Kendra, and Kasey.
Bernice was raised in Flesherton and grew up going to church, where she was baptized, at St. John’s United Church and very much enjoyed it. She much loved the area but found a new house she loved much more at Jeremey Place in Mount Forest. She found great comfort in the staff there and even found a new church to attend.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 5 at the Flesherton Cemetery at 1:00pm. She will be interred with her parents.
