Our kind and loving husband, father and grandfather embraced his family and friends with such profound gentleness. He cared deeply for all those lucky enough to be close to him. Happily married to his beloved wife, Debra, for 41 years. Loving and supportive father of Jeremy Scherle (Michelle Blake), Clinton, Amber Scherle (Jordan Nuhn), Clinton and Lindsay Scherle, Clinton. Caring grandfather of Dylan, Owen, Sarah, Bryson, Myra, Maddox and Brynlee. Loving brother of Ingrid Younger, of Milton and Charlie Scherle, of Streetsville. Son-in-law to Jill Flowers, of Kitchener. Brother-in-law to Kim Flowers, of Kitchener, Greg Flowers (Irmi) of Germany, and Jeff Merner of Bayfield. Uncle to 11 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Hubert Scherle and Waltraud (Beck) Scherle, father in law Russell Flowers, sister in law Jill (Flowers) Merner, and brother in law Bill Younger. Who passed away peacefully, in the hearts of his family, on May 25, 2018 in his 65th year at the Seaforth Community Hospital, Seaforth. At Bernie’s request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Clinton Legion, 95 Kirk Street, Clinton, ON from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Huron Residential Hospice, or Autism Canada would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Falconer Funeral Homes, Clinton.
