Bernard McQuade
1926-2018
Following a brief illness, Bernard Harold McQuade of Perth-Andover,
NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on May 5,
2018.
Bernard was born in Tilley, NB, on September 17, 1926. He was the son
of the late Osborne and Isella (Sewell) McQuade. Bernard leaves behind
his nieces, Jean Kaczynski, Marsha Swim (Daniel), Cheryl McAllister,
Brenda Jackson (Dave), and Audra McQuade; his nephews, Adrian and Tony
McQuade; along with several great nieces and nephews.
Bernard was predeceased by his parents; his sisters, Gladys Goucher,
Reta McAllister, Amy « Teenie » McQuade, and infant Rose
McQuade; brothers, Raymond McQuade, Ashil McQuade, and infants Vaughan
and Wesley McQuade.
Bernard worked as a laborer on farms in the area. He also worked for
NB Power clearing woods to pass power lines the last 10 years prior to
retirement.
Funeral arrangements remain to be confirmed and will be announced they
become available.
