Benoit Richard
1923-2018
Benoit Richard, 94, of the Pavillon Richard on the Faubourg du
Mascaret campus, Moncton and formerly of Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, passed
away peacefully with his son by his side, at the Dr Georges-L-Dumont
UHC on Friday October 12, 2018. He was married to the late Marie
(Allain) Richard. Born in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent, he was the son of the
late David and the late Victorine (Allain) Richard.
Prior to his retirement Benoit was employed as thr janitor for
l’école Calixte-F-Savoie School in Sainte-Anne-de-Kent .
He will be sadly missed by his son Paul (Charline) of Moncton, his
grandchildren; Luc and Melanie, his sister, Noella Richard of l’
Assomption QC, his brothers; Dolphé (Rose-Mai) of Waltham, MA,
Regis (Jean) of Pickering, ON and several nieces and nephews.
Benoit was predeceased by five sisters; Rose (in infancy) Minnie,
Élise-Anne, Dorilla, Catherine and four brothers; Lionel (in
infancy), Aurèle, Lionel and Emile.
Visitations will be held in the Sainte-Anne-de-Kent Roman Catholic
Church Slumber Room on Tuesday October 16, 2018 from 2 to 4 and from
5:30 to 6:45pm, followed by the Funeral Mass at 7:00pm. Interment will
be in the parish cemetery.
In memory of Benoit a donation can be made to the CHU Dumont Hospital
Foundation.
