Benjamin Calhoun Millett
1930-2018
Born upstairs, at home in West Quaco, NB on September 21,
1930, Benjamin Calhoun Millett, the son of the late Rev. John Stanley
and Eleanor (Robinson) Millett, was delivered into this world by a
village midwife and her 12 year old assistant, who reported it was a
rainy and windy night.
With acknowledgement of a life well lived, his family wishes
to announce that Ben died peacefully at the age of 87 on Thursday,
June 28, 2018 in Willow House at the Loch Lomond Village, his home for
the past 3 years.
Ben was predeceased by his wife Betty. He is
survived by his brother Robert and his 7 children: Linda (Rick), Ben
Jr., David (Angela), Patricia, Susan (David), John and Catherine, 17
grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews
and members of his extended family and friends.
A grateful « Thanks » to the staff on Willow,
who provided exceptional care that allowed family to draw comfort in
their absence.

Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424) where family and
friends are invited to visit on Sunday, July 8 from 1:00 PM

Benjamin was a polished man, who placed high importance in
attending any event wearing formal attire and appearing well
put-together. In honour of his legacy, we ask that everyone dresses in
a fashion that would make him proud.

doing the right thing even when no one is
watching »
