Obituary for Benito Troiani
Passed away peacefully on January 7, 2018 in the comfort of his home, at the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of 58 years to Grazia (Luciani). Loving and devoted father of Bruno Troiani (Denise), Lina Philpott (Grant), and the late Francesco Troiani. Adored Nonno of Jamie, Meagan, Sabina, Bryan, Erika and Laura. Fondly remembered by his sisters Antonietta and Lucy, and his brothers Giuseppe, Tony and the late Gino. Benito will be deeply missed by all of his family in Canada, Italy, Belgium and Venezuela. He was proud of his family and their accomplishments. A private family service has taken place. Interment was held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery. Arrangement entrusted to the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Colorectal Cancer Association Canada. Cancersociety.ca defines screening as “…checking or testing for a disease in a group of people who don’t show any symptoms of the disease. Screening tests help find colorectal cancer before any symptoms develop. When colorectal cancer is found and treated early, the chances of successful treatment are better”.
