It is with great sadness that the family of the late
BEATRICE
M. SLANEY of
St. Lawrence announces her passing at the Mount Margaret Manor in St.
Lawrence on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at the age of
79. Leaving to mourn with fond and
loving memories are sons, Mike (Michelle) of St. Lawrence and Donnette
(Amanda Slaney) of St. Lawrence; daughter, Connie Clarke (Larry) of
St. Lawrence; sisters; Marion (John) in Ottawa, Roberta of St.
John’s, and Ann (Clayton) of St. John’s; brother,
Ben (Betty) of St. John’s; 6 grandchildren, Felicia (Dean),
Jeff (Lindsey), Dale (Margurite), Deanne (Tyler), Mallory (Brent), and
Kendra (Brian); 10 great-grandchildren,
Addysen, Paige, Drew, Alex, Avery, Brooklyn, Logan, Livia, Isabelle,
and Connor; plus a large circle of extended family and
friends. She was predeceased by husband
Alexander Slaney, sisters Betty and Minnie.
In honoring
Beatrice’s wishes a cremation will take place.
A Prayer Vigil will be at St.
Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church in St. Lawrence on Monday, April
2nd, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. followed
by Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, April
3rd, 2018 at 10:30
a.m. Inurnment will follow at Mt.
Cecilia Roman Catholic Cemetery in St.
Lawrence.
