Mark Batten passed away peacefully at the age of 57 on February 23rd 2018, with his family by his side after a courageous battle with ALS. Beloved husband of Cindy, loving father of Brittany (Andrew) and Brent. Cherished Pakka to Amelia. Loving brother to Leslie and uncle to Sarah and Louie.
The family wishes to express their profound appreciation to all of their family and friends and the medical professionals and associations who provided excellent care and support during the past few years. The ALS clinic at the Montreal Neurological institute, The ALS Society of Quebec, CLSC Lac. St. Louis, and Nova West Island. A special thank you to all the staff at the Pavillon Camille Lefebvre in Lachine, who showed great care and compassion in the final stages of Mark’s illness.
Come share your stories at a celebration of life on Saturday March 10th at the Château Vaudreuil, 21700 Transcanadienne, Vaudreuil-Dorion, J7V 8P3, from 1:30p.m – 5p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society of Quebec can be made in Mark’s memory.
