Barry Paul O’Hara
1953-2018
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barry P.
O’Hara announces his passing, which occurred on Wednesday,
October 31, 2018 at his residence. Born in Saint John on April 2,
1953, he was a son of Winnifred K. (Duffy) O’Hara and the
late Charles W. O’Hara.
Barry worked as a BTJ plumber for many years, and for the
City of Saint John Water Works department. He was a proud union member
of Local 213. He enjoyed going for drives in his truck to Grand Lake
and riding his Harley.
In addition to his loving mother, Winnifred, Barry will be
missed by his siblings: Charles (Mary), Murray (Lydia) and Colleen
(Morris); nieces and nephew, Joselynn, Matthew, Sammie, Shannon and
Michelle; as well as many cousins and a few close
friends
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111
Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (634-7424). Visitation will be held on
Monday, November 5, 2018 from 1-2 pm with a funeral liturgy to follow
in Brenan’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm. Interment will
take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish,
remembrances may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
