Google Maps fond memories of their Birthday Adventures with Granddad.
In 1992 Barry and Kate emigrated with their sons to Canada where he was a Plant Manger until he retired in 1999. He will be dearly missed by his best buddy Sam with whom he enjoyed golf & travelling. Barry was a familiar face at Emma’s, The Poacher and a member of the self named Gentlemen’s Elite Club. No doubt his subtle opinions will be missed by many. The family would like to thank all the health care professionals at Joseph Hospital (ICU & 6th floor) as well as the caring staff at Carpenter Hospice. Throughout his long and difficult battle, Barry faced each day with his own brand of optimism. A Celebration of Life will be held at GRACE ANGLICAN CHURCH, 157 Mill St. N., Waterdown, (parking can be accessed from 182 Main St.) on Wednesday August 22, 2018 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Carpenter Hospice are appreciated.
