Passed away peacefully at Cedarvale Lodge in Keswick on Saturday December 30th, 2017 at the age of 82 years. Mary, beloved wife of the late Arthur Earl Barks, formerly of Oshawa. Loving mother of Brian (Katherine) of Minneapolis, Cheryl (Late Michael O’Hara 2005) of Keswick, Glenn of Markham and Steven of Vancouver. Cherished ‘Nanny’ of Matthew (Michelle), and Katie of Keswick, Megan, Ryan and Alyssa of Uxbridge, Kyle (Ashley) of Sutton and great grandmother of Addison. Dear sister of the late James ‘Jim » Hanson and his surviving wife Georgina, Eileen and her surviving husband Bob Worsley, both of Oshawa and of the late Betty Hanson. She will be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, and relatives. Special thanks to doctors, nurses and staff at Cedarvale Lodge for all of their wonderful care and support. The family will receive friends at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick, Ontario on Thursday January 4th, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. In memory of Mary donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
