STRANGE, Barbara Joan – Passed suddenly away at her home on Friday, January 26, 2018. Barbara Joan Strange (nee Andrews) age 74 years. Predeceased by her husband Ivan in 2016. Leaving to mourn her daughters: Elizabeth (Richard Hamilton) and Andrea (Blair Wheeler); beloved grandchildren: Bradley and Sarah; brother George (Mildred); sister Carol Anne (Charlie -deceased); brothers -in- law and sisters-in-law; as well as a large circle of family and friends, especially special friends Louise Smith and Beverly O’Toole. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 2:00pm – 9:00pm. Funeral service to take place from First United Church on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 2:00pm, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
