Barbara Joan Ellegood (White) passed away at the Dr. Everett
Chalmers Hospital on May 22nd, 2018.
The daughter of the late Harold and Myrtle (Higgins) White.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband’s
Joseph Ross, Jack Grant and Nash Ellegood, a special aunt Ella Higgins
and Special uncle Bill Higgins, and a grandson Jason
Stewart.
She is survived by sons Gary (Connie) Ross of Fredericton,
Jim (Linda) Ross of Illinois, daughter Susan Stewart (Greg Matchett)
of Miramichi, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces,
nephews and cousins. A stepson Paul (Margo) Ellegood, Comox
BC, stepdaughter Pauline Tucker of Fredericton, step grandchildren and
step great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone who was kind and
helpful to Barbara, especially Suzanne Goodine, Charlene Lemoine,
Connie Ross and Gail Cougle. Also, to the Staff on 3E and the
palliative unit at the DECH and a special thank you to Dr. Ann Collins
for all her care over the years.
As per Barbara’s request, there will be no
visitation or funeral service. A family graveside service
will be held at a later date in St. Raphael’s Cemetery in
Blackville. Donation’s may be made to St.
Raphael’s Cemetery, Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity
of the donor’s choice.
Bishop’s Funeral Home 458-1885) has been entrusted
with Barbara’s Funeral arrangements.
