Barbara Dawn Steeves
1943-2018
Barbara Steeves of Moncton, formerly of Salisbury, passed
away at The Moncton Hospital on Monday, April 2, 2018. Born in
Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Kathleen
(Rockingham) Mitton. She was formerly employed with CIBC in
Salisbury.
She will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Arthur;
daughter Tammy Killam of Riverview; sons Trent (Kelly) of Petitcodiac
and Lance (Cheryl) of Moncton; her five grandchildren: Cathleen, Kyle,
Jonathan, Anthony and Alexander; one great-granddaughter, Olivia; a
sister Sylvia Mitton of Salisbury; as well as several nieces and
nephews and special friends Gail and Ken Ramsay. Besides her parents,
she was predeceased by her sister Charlene Killam.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview, NB E1B 0E4 (869-2007) on Thursday from 5:30 –
8:00pm. A funeral service will take place at Cobb’s Funeral
Home Memorial Chapel on Friday, April 6, at 1:00pm with Rev. Hagerman
officiating. The interment will take place in Five Points Cemetery at
a later date. Donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
