Passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Westgate Lodge in Belleville at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Norris. Loving mother to the late John. Cherished grandmother of Bill (Debi) and Sheryl Franklin-Meens (Will) Adored great-grandmother of Ronan, Sophie and Liam. Barbara was a dedicated teacher at Bloorlea Middle School in Etobicoke for many years until 1980. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., (between Islington and Kipling Aves), on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
