At his home in Whitney, on Thursday, March 22, 2018. George Bandy, age 67, was the beloved husband of Violet Nagy. Loved father of Jason (Jessica) and step children Dawson, Christine, Jen, and Alex. Loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his step-father Ray Bruce of Alberta, and siblings Doris, Lois, Dorothy, Lorne of Ontario, and Elmer, Isabel, Eric, Barry, Esther of Alberta. Predeceased by his parents James and Gladys (Ruttan) Bandy. Loved by many nieces, nephews and friends. A private family gathering took place at the funeral home on Monday, March 26, 2018. Interment, St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, Bancroft in the spring. As expressions of sympathy, donations to The Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
